A Little About KWK

IMG_4113.jpeg

Our goal at KWK is to help develop young boys and girls into young men and women. We do this through the sport of wrestling. Now we have expanded the program to offer so much more. With 4 separate seasons, new town teams, introducing girls’ only practices and events and now Old Man Wrestling as well! To learn more about our program visit our About Page. To follow along for the season without stepping on the mat check out coaches blog posts (ugh gross).

For our Winter Season, we now offer two separate co-ed Town Teams, Attleboro and North Attleborough. These teams have scheduled practice times together and compete in a similar schedule but the organization may split to offer better opportunities for each team. We are so excited to offer girls only practices and help grow our sport!

We also expanded what we offer to OLD MEN! The Old Man Wrestling has become a HIT, both for competitors and fans. Any athlete after their senior year of High School wrestling is eligible to practice and compete with the old men. Mondays are for instruction and Wednesdays are Live.

We practice out of Next Movement Training and Performance at 109 Washington Street, Plainville, MA.

Our Four Seasons

WINTER - The Full Regular Season

Registration starts around mid to late September. First practice is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and runs until mid March. Complete with weekly events and a State Tournament.

SPRING - Olympic Season

A different styles of wrestling! Where our Winter season is called, Folkstyle, the Olympic season consists of Freestyle and Greco Roman. This season ends with the opportunity to compete at the US National Championship!

SUMMER - Stay in Shape or Get in Shape!

For two months we work HARD! Difficult work outs, high intensity drilling and live wrestling to get athletes to stay in wrestling shape.

FALL - Prepare for the Podium!

Working on honing in the skills you need to be great. Building practice plans for each athlete to grow their own skill set!

Beginner Practices - We also ALWAYS offer beginners practices that are all about learning the sport and having fun!
