Matuesz wrestled at North Attleborough High School where he developed into the best wrestler in school history! An All-State Champion, New England Champion and an All American finish at Super 32.

When he graduated he attended and wrestled DI for the University of Virginia!

The heavyweight class is often misunderstood and for good reason. Heavyweight is unlike every other weight class in wrestling. The power required to be an effective wrestler coupled with the strategies and mat awareness are seldom taught in the wrestling room. But this class is no longer the heavyweight dance of old. The most powerful athletes in the room small moments in these wrestlers can be the difference of six points for your team.
